Research about   ghatothkach skeleton:   A skeleton said to be of Ghatotkach, of enormous dimensions was excavated in India.   Ghatotkach was the son of Pandava Bheema.  Ghatotkacha was born out of giantess Hidimbi. Hidimbi was the sister of Hidimba a Rakshasa. Hidimba was a strong powerful man 12 feet in height, a forest dweller. He and his sister, Hidimbi saw the Pandavas in the forest during their exile and they wished to fight with them.  For this reason Hidimbi changed herself into a beautiful woman and brought Bhima near her brother Hidimba.Hidimba fought with Bhima and died in the fight. Hisory states that Hidimba belonged to the great Bamun family of Nalbari kamrup from Assam. Today’s the Dimasa people are considered as their descendants. Hadimbi is also pronounced as Hidimba.
